IL CACIOCAVALLO MACCHIONE

Our company wanted to develop a product which simply reflected our brand and we decided it would be the caciocavallo Macchione.

It is the king of spun curd cheeses. This niche product has a strong distinctive taste; it is different from other cheeses thanks to the excellent milk, which is produced by brown cows grazing on unspoiled pastures at an altitude of 1420 m.; in addition its high quality standard is certified and guaranteed by periodical controls.

It is matured for a minimum of one year in tufa grottoes and its weight can vary from 12-13 to 20kg. Cheese makers has managed to transmit their passion to the consumers through this cheese and its unmistakable taste.
